Seminar Abstract
This instructor-led seminar is suitable for participants who have a firm grasp of Lean Thinking but who are new to the Agile (“adaptive”) Approach with its unique practices, tools, and techniques.

It provides you with an introduction to the Agile Practices needed to work in an Agile Enterprise and to meet the peculiar demands of 21st century work.  This learning experience includes an overview of the various options that are found in the Agile Practice Guide1 including Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan, XP, Crystal, AUP, FDD, TDD, and DSDM and how they differ from the Conventional (“predictive”) Approach.

Seminar Summary
Students are provided with a high-level overview of several Agile practices, tools, and techniques for getting their work done better, faster, and cheaper by working smarter, not just harder. The material covered is compatible with the PMI-ACP® Handbook2 and the content on the PMI Agile Certification Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Exam for those contemplating pursuit of this highly-regarded designation.

Intended Audience
This On-Site (private) Seminar is intended for a group of up to twenty (20) participants who are looking to improve their pragmatic awareness by learning about several Agile practices, tools, and techniques. It is the prerequisite for APS 102 – “Exploring Agile Scrum” Seminar. ($5,495 for up to 20 participants, plus travel, hotel, and meals outside Metro-NYC)
