Department of Homeland Security: Successful 5-Day Workshop in Washington, DC

Bill Ruggles delivered a 5-day, on-site workshop for 12 management-level employees of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC on October 24-28th.
Given our other recent engagements with the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this reflects a trend towards an increase in demand for our performance improvement services coming from offices in the Federal Government.
This was another "FastTrack PMP Certification Exam Prep" workshop covering the entire contents of PMI's PMBOK Guide (5th Edition), the ANSI standard for Project Management, and the Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct, that are the focus of the rigorous, 4-hour, computer-based PMP Certification Exam.
Modules covered were: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, Human Resources, Communications, Procurement, Stakeholders, and Integration Management processes (47 in all) that occur during the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Control, and Closing Process Groups throughout the Project Life Cycle.
Participants were able to test their knowledge at the end of each module with 10-12 questions PLUS, on Day #5, a set of 100 Practice Exam Questions modeled after the format of those found on the actual PMP Certification Exam.
